


We are always on the lookout for volunteers for both Scouting and Guiding.
Most of our volunteers work directly with young people, helping them to gain skills for life through activities and adventures.
We also have an amazing team of trustees and volunteers working behind the scenes, looking after our finances and the Hut.
Volunteers Might:
Train to become a uniformed Scout or Guide leader
Attend weekly meetings as a unit /section helper
Get involved with days out, camps and expeditions
Share and learn skills – from coding to cake decorating to canoeing
Become a unit treasurer
Join the Group Trustee Committee
Organise fundraising events
Take on a lead role such as Group Secretary or Group Treasurer
Have recruitment and PR skills to help us grow membership and volunteers
